Our search strategy here points at Catalyst::Controller::HTML::FormFu as our preferred module to deal with forms in Catalyst. If we want something more lightweight, we could use Form::Processor, but the current implementation of a Catalyst extension suggests that if we want to use this functionality, writing our own base controller is currently the way to go.

Punctuation can be important in terms of how Concordance recognizes textual units. Concordance recognizes the characters in Table 7-1, by default, as common punctuation. Table 7-1. Characters That Concordance Uses As Punctuation

The HOST command (most implementations support a platform-specific shortcut, such as $ or !) allows you to execute commands at the underlying operating system; for example, on a Microsoft Windows system, a command window is opened. Depending on the underlying operating system, you can finish the subsession and return to your SQL*Plus session with EXIT, LOGOUT, or a similar command.

The CPAN shell is what you get when you type cpan at the command line. Here s an example CPAN session: $ cpan cpan shell -- CPAN exploration and modules installation (v1.9301) ReadLine support enabled cpan[1]> First up, you can get some help as follows: cpan[1]> h Let s split this information into chunks to describe each section of functionality in turn: Display Information (ver 1.9301) command argument description a,b,d,m WORD or /REGEXP/ about authors, bundles, distributions, modules i WORD or /REGEXP/ about any of the above ls AUTHOR or GLOB about files in the author's directory (with WORD being a module, bundle or author name or a distribution name of the form AUTHOR/DISTRIBUTION) You ll most often use the i command, which basically searches the CPAN index in a similar way to http://search.cpan.org. In this case, however, you use regular expression syntax to search. For example, you can search for all Catalyst::Controllers that also contain the word Form in them with the following: cpan[6]> i /Catalyst::Controller.*Form/ If you re unfamiliar with regular expressions, note the use of .* rather than the more common wildcard '*'. Assuming that you re connected to the Web, using http://search.cpan. org is probably more convenient than using regular expressions. Having said that, if you are familiar with regular expressions, they are very powerful and can be used to sift through CPAN with ease. With the CLEAR BUFFER command, you can empty the SQL buffer in SQL*Plus. This is something you won t need to do too often, because the SQL buffer is overwritten each time by consecutive commands. With the CLEAR SCREEN command, you can start at the top of a new, empty SQL*Plus screen.

Table 2-12 shows an overview of all SQL*Plus commands covered in this chapter (including the SQL*Plus editor commands already listed in Table 2-10).

You can modify this list from the File Modify menu (see Figure 7-1). You might wish to exclude the hyphen character to retain searches of hyphenated last names, such as Mary Scott-Smith. By default, Concordance treats this name as three words: Mary, Scott, and Smith. If the hyphen is removed from the punctuation list, Concordance will treat the name as two words, Mary and Scott-Smith.

When you installed Catalyst::Devel, you just used the install command. get, make, and test are performed as a part of this process. The clean command reverses the effect of make. If you encounter trouble, the look command will come in handy.
